Massive attendance at the 7th Conference on Customs Law

The 7th Conference on Customs Law was held on November 22, which was attended by the Director General of Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Mr. Mauricio Di Lorenzo and the Director General of Uruguay Customs, Mr. Jaime Borgiani, as well as high-level speakers from the private sector and Uruguay Customs.

With over 300 participants, the main topic of the Conference this year was “Transparency and Legal Certainty in Foreign Trade”. At the beginning of the Conference the Director General of Uruguay Customs, Mr. Jaime Borgiani gave the floor to the Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance Secretariat, Mr. Mauricio Di Lorenzo, for the formal opening of the Conference.

Mr. Lorenzo congratulated the Director General of Uruguay Customs for organizing this forum, emphasizing the “effort carried out in order to continue organizing these Conferences, which are very important for the development of foreign trade”
